Jami Joe

Jami Joe was born and raised in Southern Calhoun County in the community of Kinard. She graduated from Blountstown High School in 2003 and currently shares her time between her home in Nashville, TN and Calhoun County. She owns Jami Joe Photography with a studio located in Kinard. FL and with her husband they own and operate The Tennessee Cobbler Company, a Nashville based food Truck. Jami served as Main Street Blountstown President from July 2018 to September 2019. During her term she was able to assist in the development of a local Summer Concert Series, Pickin' in the Park, and oversee multiple fundraising efforts that led to a  $15,000 donation towards the construction of a local Splash Pad Play Park. She has served in the community for many years in various capacities and will continue to work towards positive growth opportunities for the citizens of Calhoun County.

District 1 Board Member

Amanda Neal

Amanda was born and raised in Calhoun County. She is a 2003 graduate of Blountstown High School. After graduation she received a Business Management degree from Chipola College before attending Le Courdon Bleu in Atlanta, Georgia where she earned a degree in Culinary Arts. Amanda has been a 911 dispatcher since 2010 and has previously worked for Calhoun County Sheriff's Dept., Melbourne PD, and the Florida Highway Patrol. She is currently employed at Jackson County Sheriff's Dept. In her spare time she enjoys being with her friends and family and trying to help her community. She hopes to give back to the community that has given so much to her.

Allan Austin

District 3 Board Member

Allan was born and raised in Florence, Alabama where he graduated from Wilson High School and attended Welch College in Nashville, TN. He graduated from the Baptist College of Florida in Graceville, FL and moved to the Florida Panhandle in 1988 and has called this area home since. Allan became a resident of Calhoun County in 2015, when he became the pastor of Traveler's Rest Free Will Baptist Church in Clarksville. He is active in the community as a firefighter and first responder with Carr-Clarksville Volunteer Fire Dept. He also serves with Innovative Charities Food Pantry. Allan is a regional director with Florida Free Will Baptist Disaster Relief, where he and the church were very active during Hurricane Michael. He is looking forward to serving with the Community Foundation to build community and promote the success of all this area has to offer.

Willie Brown

District 4 Board Member

A lifelong resident of Calhoun County living both in the Mayhaw and Hugh Creek communities, Mr. Willie Brown is a 1984 graduate of Blountstown High School. He attended college on Basketball and Football Scholarships earning A.A. and B.S. degrees. Willie Brown has been employed his entire career with the state government. Initially working with the Dept. of Health & Rehabilitative Services followed by the Dept. of Corrections, where he served as a Probation Officer, he soon elevated to the rank of Asst. Warden. Mr. Brown later served Calhoun County as an elected School Board Member for two terms. He is a member of St. Paul AME Church and is always willing to serve in any capacity that elevates and positively moves our county forward.
